PoliCu welcomes submissions from readers. An extensive internet presence or publication history is not necessary. We judge submissions based on their content, accuracy and originality.
Submissions typically go through an editing process focused on clarity and style. Writers retain final say over proposed changes, but we appreciate a collaborative approach to developing pieces. Length is limited to 1800 words, with exceptions made on a case-by-case basis.
We do accept photos to accompany your writing. Please only send pictures you have the rights to, have taken yourself or are in the public domain. If these photos are not your own, please indicate the source so they can be credited appropriately.
We welcome all civil and informed opinions. However we do not publish any work deemed to be libel, racist, inciting hatred or plagiarism.
To submit your work, please send it in the body of an email or as a doc attachment, along with your name, contact information, and a brief biography, to firstname.lastname@example.org
